Applications are opened on the 1 August 2025 and closes on the 31 August for this years WLG Community and Environment Fund.
The WLG Community & Environment Fund provides grants to organisations and community groups located within Motukairangi/Eastern Ward for the purpose of education, promotion and advancement of the community. The funding priorities include education, community, environment, arts and culture, health and sport. The Trust has a total of $75,000 to allocate in 2025 with grants between $1000 and $10,000 considered.
This fund exists due to the Guardians of the Bays Incorporated, Strathmore Park Residents Association and community members hard work on the 2022 Environment Court mediation on the airports designations.
We thank Wellington Airport in maintaining funding at $75,000 for this year.
